NOTE: This page is mostly just for my benefit as I have a number of these particular laptops and I run primarily the latest version of Fedora on them. But if anything here turns out to be useful for you, so much the better.

Introduction

This page and all of the subpages here describe how to configure various features, applications and devices under Fedora 7 on a Gateway MX7120 laptop. The idea is to be able to do this using only the software off of the installation DVD, and further installing software using only yum, to make the process as simple as possible so that it can be done by anyone.
